Chandigarh, August 10: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Dushyant Singh Chautala said that the new National Education Policy-2020 released by the Central Government is promoting skill development which will benefit the younger generation in future, and will inspire the youth to become self-reliant.
The Deputy Chief Minister said this while interacting with media persons after offering his condolences to Dr. Jaswinder Khaira, a senior leader of Jannayak Janta Party in village Lukhi, Kurukshetra on the demise of his father, late Mr. Rawail Singh. He said that the State Government will also implement the new education policy, adopting the guidelines and rules of the new education policy as issued by the Central Government. This Education Policy will bring about a significant change in the country and the state.
While responding to another query, the Deputy CM said that the State Government would not allow corruption in any department. In the first nine months of its tenure, the present State Government has thrust the campaign against corruption to its final stage starting from the Revenue Department, he added. He said that complaints received in the case of land registries are being investigated by the Commissioner of Gurugram. The State Government will take strict action against the officers and employees involved in corruption based on the facts of this report, he added.
Mr. Dushyant Chautala said that new software is being developed for the registries, and registries will start from next week if the situation remains favourable.
