Haryana Agro Industries Corporation to open 2,000 new retail outlets under the brand name `HaRit’.
Chandigarh July 30- Haryana Government has decided to launch the ‘Retail Expansion Plan 2020’ in the State to compete with the existing market trend. Under the expansion plan, the Haryana Agro Industries Corporation Limited will open around 2,000 new retail outlets under the brand name `HaRit’.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana Agro Industries Corporation Limited said that the state government has planned to open 2,000 multi-brand retail outlets in the State where fast-moving consumables products will be available at best price and quality.
He said that besides the products of the leading State agencies like Vita and Hafed, the other Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products of the leading MNCs and MSMEs would also be made available in these proposed new retail outlets. The quality and the service for the consumers would be the prime objective of the state government through these retail outlets, he added.
He said that with a view to give a further boost to this project it has also been decided to get prepare the new design of `HaRit’ logo. For this purpose, an open competition would be held amongst the masses in which anyone from Haryana could participate.
He said that the participants could send their designs along with concept notes till August 6, 2020, on the email id email@example.com. The winner would be selected by the evaluation and steering committee and would be given recognition and a cash award of Rs. 11,000, he added.
