Strongly protesting against the unwarranted highhandedness of the Punjab government, Mann said: “While the mafia is openly selling poison, the Congress leaders /MLAs / ministers have forged an unholy alliance with the police administration indulging in selling  ‘Chitta’ (a kind of drug) liquor through the mafia lords enjoying protective patronage of the ruling government. When we were on the way to his luxurious farmhouse to stir him (Capt. Amarinder Singh) out of deep slumber but stopped us by a heavy deployment of police force present their”

Mann said “Even if the Punjab government and the police dispensation throw us in jails but we will keep fighting at all levels against the system till the time Captain Amarinder Singh and his ministers tender their resignation on moral grounds. No force can  silence our voice”

On this occasion, Leader of Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema said that the entire command of Badal’s mafia in the state was now under the control of the Congress government led by Captain Amarinder Singh.
