He said that this scheme has now been implemented in the country and he was hopeful that Haryana will be the first state to complete this scheme.

Interacting with the officers, Sh. Kaushal said that now the second wave of Covid-19 is showing downward trend in the state and the positivity rate of Haryana has come down to 1.24 per cent, so the officers should expedite the work of completing this scheme.

Regarding the demarcation on the Uttar Pradesh border with Haryana, Sh. Kaushal informed that the work of installing pillars at 20 places on the border of UP with Karnal would be completed by July 15. Apart from this, a meeting of the Deputy Commissioners of Panipat, Sonipat, Palwal, Faridabad and Karnal will be held in Karnal on June 16, 2021, in which all these officers will also visit the demarcation area along the UP border in Karnal so that they are able to complete this work in their respective districts along the border of Uttar Pradesh.

Drone mapping of property of all villages in the country, village people will get ownership certificate

It is noteworthy that the SVAMITVA Scheme has been started on the day of National Panchayat Day, under which the village land will be measured scientifically using drones. In fact, the SVAMITVA Scheme is an attempt to make accurate assessment of village properties, under which the property of all villages in the country will be drone mapped and an ownership certificate will be given to the people of the village. With this, the confusion with regard to property will be removed to a great extent. Besides this, it will also help in appropriate planning of developmental plans in the village. Now, like in cities, villagers can also take loans from banks because when the villagers have ownership, they will be able to take loans from the bank on the basis of the property.

At the same time, the residents of the villages will also be able to ensure the financial use of their property through scientific technology. With this, the records of the residential area of the villages will also be provided to the Panchayats. This will also bring the properties under the ambit of tax collection and this will make tax collection possible. With this income, Panchayats will also be able to provide better and effective facilities in rural areas. It is natural that with a transparent assessment of the property and determination of ownership, their prices will also go up. Moreover, with the use of drone survey technology, the Gram Panchayat will have accurate records and maps of the village, which can be used for recovery, issuance of building permits and elimination of illegal occupation, etc.
