Raja Sahib is trying his best to promote Badals as main opposition under mutual agreement, Asked why no case was registered against the Badals doing drama of dharnas amid Corona.

Bathinda, 14 August 2020

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab President and Member of Parliament Bhagwant Mann has leveled serious allegations against Chief Minister Amarinder Singh that as agreed mutually ‘Raja Sahib’s’ prime focus is on to promote Badals (Sukhbir Singh Badal-Bikram Singh Majithia), who have lost their political ground, as the main opposition party in Punjab before the 2022 elections.

On Friday, while meeting the media here along with local party leaders, AAP MP asked the Chief Minister that when the volunteers of Aam Aadmi Party, farmers- labour organizations, Unemployed youth and other organizations protest against the anti-people policies and irresponsible attitude of the Central and State Governments during the Corona epidemic, they are being booked under corona guidelines (Disaster Management). According to Mann, more than 300 cases have been registered against AAP leaders, volunteers and supporters so far. The number of cases registered against farmers’ unions and trade unions so far is over 1000.

Mr. Bhagwant Mann questioned that while Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal who was embroiled in allegations of sacrilege and who has been the root cause of ‘mafia rule’ in Punjab was staging dharnas against ‘liquor mafia’ and flouting corona guidelines with impunity, he is being obliquely  assisted by the police as well the administration instead of filing a lawsuit against him.

Bhagwant Mann said that even Congress leaders Partap Singh Bajwa and Shamsher Singh Dullo were raising hue and cry over the apparent efforts of ‘Maharaja’ to resurrect the ousted Badals and taking over the reins of their (Badals) mafia rule.

Mr. Bhagwant Mann even said that the Chief Minister and Badal could be attending meetings and mehfils at their farmhouse at Siswan as Sukhbir Badal’s ‘Sukh Bilas’ and Maharaja’s Royal Farmhouse were near to eachother.

Bhagwant Mann alleged that the Chief Minister did not stay at his official residence in Chandigarh because the money of sand, liquor and all other mafias was collected and went to the farm house of the Maharaja.

Mr. Mann said that what could be more unfortunate for Punjab when hundreds of people lost their lives due to the trade of illicit liquor flourishing under the patronage of ruling party  in Tarn Taran, Amritsar and Batala, Aam Aadmi Party had to launch state wide protest and surround the farmhouse and force the Maharaja to come to Majha region by stepping out of his royal farmhouse.

Bhagwant Mann also asked why the real convicts like Congress MLA Ramanjit Singh Sikki, his PA Germanjit Singh and MLA Sukhwinder Singh Danny who patronaged the distribution of illicit liquor trade and were behind the mass murders due to its consumption were not charged with murder. He was accompanied by Navdeep Singh Jida, Amrit Lal, Anil Thakur, Rakesh Puri, Neel Garg and others.
