Leh, Jun 05, 2021: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 122 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 115 reports were reported in Leh and seven in Kargil. While, a total of 2840 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1789 and Kargil: 1051 were found negative yesterday.
With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported in Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 194; 140 in Leh and 54 in Kargil.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 272 patients yesterday. Out of which 251 patients were discharged in Leh and 21 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1354; 1153 in Leh and 201 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 451 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 113 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 181 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
