Haryana Scheduled Caste Finance and Development

Chandigarh, August 10 – Haryana Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation has provided financial assistance of Rs 322.27 lakh to 445 beneficiaries till July 2020 during the year 2020-2021, out of which Rs 29.24 lakh has been included in subsidy.

Giving information in this regard, Haryana Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare Minister, Dr Banwari Lal said that under the schemes being run in Agriculture and Allied Sectors by the Government, a financial assistance of Rs 143.20 lakh has been provided to 254 beneficiaries under the Dairy Farming Scheme, including a subsidy of Rs 12.91 lakh.

He informed that under Sheep Rearing, a financial assistance of Rs 2.40 lakh has been provided to 3 beneficiaries including subsidy of Rs 30,000.  Similarly, a financial assistance of Rs 1.70 lakh has been provided to 3 beneficiaries under Pig farming, which includes subsidy of Rs 30,000.  He informed that financial assistance of Rs. 2.20 lakh has been provided to 3 beneficiaries under the scheme for Jhota Buggi, Camel Cart and Mule Cart etc. which includes subsidy of Rs. 30,000.

The Minister informed that financial assistance of Rs 7.20 lakh has been provided to 9 beneficiaries in the Industrial Sector, including subsidy of Rs 90,000.  Similarly, 157 beneficiaries in Trade and Business Sector have been provided financial assistance of Rs 116.38 lakh including subsidy of Rs 14.13 lakh.

He informed that under National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC) assisted schemes, financial assistance of Rs 41.20 lakh has been provided to 15 beneficiaries under Laghu Vyavasay Yojana, including subsidy of Rs 40,000.  Similarly, under the National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation (NSKFDC) assisted schemes, financial assistance of Rs 8 lakh has been provided to one beneficiary.
