Haryana Government is making consistent efforts to provide clean drinking water to every household. In this series, an amount of about Rs 20 crore will be spent on constructing new water tanks, repairing old water tanks and laying new pipelines in 12 villages of Uklana area of Hisar district. The government has already given administrative approval for these works.
Giving information in this regard, Minister of State for Archaeology & Museums (Independent Charge) Labour & Employment, Sh. Anoop Dhanak said that after the completion of work in these 12 villages, the ongoing problem of drinking water will be resolved. He said that the construction of new water tanks in water works, repair of old water tanks and laying of new drinking water pipelines etc. will be done at a cost of Rs 1.38 crore in Agroha, Rs 2.13 crore in Kanoh, Rs 1.63 crore in Kirara, Rs 1.30 crore in Kirmara, Rs 2.08 crore in Kuleri, Rs 2.81 crore in Landhadi. He further shared that the work of construction of new water tanks, repair of old water tanks and laying of new pipelines for drinking water etc. will be done at a cost of Rs. 2.08 crore in Mirpur, Rs. 1.66 crore in Nangthala, Rs. 95 lakh in Sabarwas, Rs. 79 lakh in Sandol, Rs. 1.12 crore in Shyamsukh, Rs 1.95 crore in Siwani Bolan. These works will soon be started in these villages by the Public Health Department.
