With the construction of a four-lane flyover near Gurugram-Faridabad Road, it will be the fastest route between Indira Gandhi International Airport and Jewar Airport: Dushyant Chautala

Chandigarh, August 20 – Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala informed that work on Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Road will be initiated soon post giving it the Status of State Highway for which Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been prepared.

While responding to a question during the Vidhan Sabha session today The Deputy Chief Minister said that Bhiwani-Mahendragarh road has been given the status of National Highway, but now the State Government has written letter to the Central Government to provide it with the status of State Highway. As soon as the reply for the same is received, the work of construction of the road will be started, its DPR has been prepared.

 Earlier, in response to a question asked by a member of the House regarding the proposal to four laning of five roads of Ateli assembly constituency, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the minimum traffic volume required for four-way roads is 18,000 PCU (Passenger Car Unit) per day, whereas the present PCU of the roads mentioned by the member is very less.

 Sh. Dushyant Chautala assured that if the members of the House want that the survey of these roads be done again, then the State Government will consider it. He said that if considered necessary, some relaxation in PCU can also be given in the case of four-laning of these roads.
