MoU signed with Urban Development and Housing Department and Indian Banks

An MoU was signed between the Urban Development and Housing Department and Indian Bank in the presence of Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh, on Monday, with the objective of transferring the amount of interest subsidy through DBT to the bank accounts of street vendors under PM Swanidhi Yojana. Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Shri Manish Singh, Commissioner Urban Administration and Development Shri Nikunj Kumar Srivastava, Additional Commissioner Shri Gajendra Singh Nagesh, Field General Manager of Indian Bank Shri Manoj Kumar Das and other officers were present.

Minister Shri Singh said that this will reduce paperwork and interest subsidy will reach the beneficiary’s account fast. In the scheme, 7 percent interest subsidy is given by the central government and the remaining interest amount is paid by the state government in the loan of Rs 10,000 given to street vendors. Shri Singh informed that sufficient amount is available under the scheme.

Loans disbursed to 4.90 lakh urban street vendors

In the first phase of the scheme, the Government of India had given a target of giving loans to 4 lakh 5 thousand street vendors to Madhya Pradesh. Along with fulfilling this target, loans have been distributed to 4 lakh 90 thousand street vendors in the state so far.

With the aim of again regularising the education of the girls who have left school in the state, the Women and Child Development Department is starting the ‘Kanya Shiksha Pravesh Utsav’ campaign from March 7, 2022. The main objective of the campaign for “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao” is to identify girls of school-going age in the age group of 11 to 14 years who have left school and ensure their readmission in the schools.

It is noteworthy that the overall goal of the “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao” campaign launched in the year 2015 is to celebrate the birth of the girl child and to empower her by educating, There is also a provision to provide protein, calorie-rich take home ration to school-going adolescent girls for three hundred days by the Women and Child Development Department. Survey of Anganwadi centres is conducted by the department every year in the month of April. In this, information is collected about such adolescent girls in the age group of 11 to 14 years, who have left school, have not taken admission in school, have taken admission once but are not going to school or have stopped going to school for some time. Take home ration is given to such beneficiary girls.

The recruitment process has been started for 763 vacant posts of medical officers in AYUSH dispensaries and hospitals of the state. The recruitment advertisement has been issued by the Public Service Commission. Principal Secretary Ayush held a point-wise discussion with Madhya Pradesh Medical University, Jabalpur regarding other problems of undergraduate and postgraduate students studying in AYUSH College. The representative of the university said that the problems of the Sangh would be resolved by April this year.

In relation to the 5-point demands placed by the union of graduates, post graduates and resident doctors studying in government AYUSH colleges, senior officers of the AYUSH department have said that the discrepancy has arisen as the scholarships given to graduates, resident doctors and postgraduates of the state was not revised in time. In this regard, according to the order of the High Court, it has been written to the concerned department to make the scholarship honorarium of Ayurveda scholars at par with the scholars of modern medical system of the state, to link it with the consumer price index and to increase the scholarship every year on the basis of consumer price index. Prompt action is being taken by the concerned department after examining it.

Sangh representatives have also been told that for the separation of AYUSH branch from Madhya Pradesh Medical University, Jabalpur and establishment of new AYUSH University in Madhya Pradesh like other states, it is being asked to continuously write a letter to the concerned department and take immediate action.

The Sangh officials had also demanded in relation to the rights of AYUSH doctors to use the emergency allopathy system in Madhya Pradesh. A notification has been issued to make provision in this regard in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette.

Tree Plantation Mega Campaign from March 1 to 5

Since last year Narmada Jayanti – February 19, 2021, plantation is being done continuously every day by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. For maximum participation of common citizens, community, voluntary organisations, departments in the resolution, the state government is running a tree plantation mega campaign from March 1 to 5th 2022. Every person joining the campaign will give the details of their plantation with photo or by missed call.

For the operation of the campaign, district-level committees have been constituted under the chairmanship of collectors in all the districts. The committees will ensure continuous coordination, supervision, monitoring and public participation in the plantation campaign. Plantation can be done in the premises of all government offices, public undertakings, industrial establishments, corporation board offices, schools-colleges, Anganwadis, hostels, panchayats etc. Apart from this, people can also plant saplings on government and forest land. Non-government organisations can plant saplings on their premises or suitable sites.

The arrangement of plants will be done by the institution or person himself. The plants available in the nursery of Forest, Horticulture, Agriculture Department will be used as per the prevailing rules. The responsibility of protection, irrigation and care of the planted saplings will be of the person, organisation or government institution planting the sapling.

Information of planting

Every person joining the campaign will be able to send the details of their plantation along with photos to the state government through various available means. If they have a smart phone, they will be able to download the app “Vayudoot-Ankur” of Ankur programme and upload their photo with the plant after planting. Similarly can also be sent to MP-CMEVENTS portal https://webcast.gov.in /mp/cmevents.

Those not using the app will make miss call

If the person planting the sapling does not want to use the app or portal, they can give information by giving missed call on specially established miss call service number 0755-2706666 between March 1 and 5th, 2022. All the persons participating in the mass plantation programmes can give a miss call.

If a person plants a single plant in his courtyard on self-motivation, then this information can be given to the government through any one of the above three mediums.

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will attend the Shiv Jyoti Arpanam festival in Ujjain, the city of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar, on the holy festival of Mahashivratri. In the festival, earthen lamps will be lit from house to house in Ujjain city including various Ghats, Devasthans, temples of Punya Salila Maa Kshipra. A target has been set to light 21 lakh earthen lamps in Shiv Jyoti Arpanam Mahotsav. For the festival, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will attend the festival from the stage built on the umbrella of Ranoji and will light the lamp at Ramghat. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, a Mahadev programme will be organised at Triveni Art Museum, Ujjain, focusing on the art manifestations of the truth of Shiva. Starting from March 1 on Mahashivratri, this programme will go on till March 3. In this, dance drama and group dance will be presented in classical and folk dance styles along with lectures. Along with this, devotional singing, folk singing, painting camp and exhibition will also be organised.

Saints of the Akhara’s besides players, traders, students will also participate in the festival

There is immense enthusiasm among the residents of Ujjain for the festival. Arrangements have been made to light 13 lakh earthen lamps at the ghats located on the river Kshipra. In the festival, earthen lamps will be lit at Ramghat, Datta Akhara, Narsingh Ghat, Ravidas Ghat, Guru Nanak Ghat, Sunhari Ghat, etc. located on the river Kshipra. Apart from this, earthen lamps will also be illuminated at Mahakal Temple, Harsiddhi Temple, Mangalnath Temple, Gopal Mandir, Kaal Bhairav, Gadkalika and Siddha- Vat. There are plans to light a large number of earthen lamps at Tower Square, Shaheed Park, Kshirsagar and other public places with public participation. The people of the city will also light lamps in their homes. Sector in-charges have been entrusted with this whole system. Volunteers in large numbers have gathered to register the Shiv Jyoti Arpanam Festival in the Guinness World of Records. Voluntary organisations, social organisations, religious institutions, sportspersons, businessmen, students and saints of Akharas are also involved in the campaign. Altogether 21 lakh earthen lamps will be lit in temples, public places, houses including 13 lakh lamps on the ghats of river Kshipra.

Responsibility of lighting 100 Lamps on one volunteer

Door to door Deepotsav will be organised in the festival. Attractive electrical decoration will be done at all commercial places and establishments. Ujjain city will also be decorated. Seven sectors have been created for lighting lamps on the banks of river Kshipra. 3 lakh 64 thousand 132 at Ramghat, 2 lakh 12 thousand 204 at Datta Akhara, 2 lakh 21 thousand 482 at Bhukhi Mata Mandir, one lakh 74 thousand 734 at Narsinghghat Kirk Raj Mandir, one lakh 69 thousand 328 at Narsinghghat Pul Bhukhi Mata Ghat, one lakh 14 thousand 748 at Dhobighat and 50 thousand 280 lamps will be lit at Sunhari Ghat. 13 thousand volunteers will participate in the lighting of 13 lakh earthen lamps, which will be supervised by 200 observers. Six committees have been formed for this event. One volunteer will be responsible for lighting every 100 lamps. Each block will have 200 earthen lamps, each sub-zone will have 10 thousand blocks. A large number of volunteers have registered for the programme.

Programme will be organised in zero waste format

The team of Guinness World Records has reached Ujjain to record this festival as a record for lighting 21 lakh lamps simultaneously. This programme will be implemented with utmost sensitivity from the point of view of cleanliness and environment for lighting such a huge number of lamps. The effort is that the programme should be done in zero waste format. Such material is being used in the festival, whose recycling will be possible.

Artists from Ujjain, Orissa, Kerala will give cultural performances

On the occasion of Mahashivratri, a three-day programme centered on lectures, dance, music and portraiture will be held at Triveni Art Museum, Ujjain, in the art manifestations of Mahadev-Shiva Satya. On March 1, there will be a lecture by Dr. Balkrishna Sharma of Ujjain on the topic of Ardhanarishwar form and glory. Along with this, Kalyan Sundaram dance drama centred on classical and folk dance styles will be presented by Guru Atasi Mishra of Bhubaneswar and group. Ujjain’s Nitin Akhand and companions will present Shiva Mahima in devotional singing. On March 2, Shri Anand Shankar Vyas of Ujjain will deliver a lecture on the subject of Ujjayini Mahakal and the city of time calculation. Ardhanarishvara group dance in classical dance styles will be presented under the direction of Dr. Latha Idavalat of Kannur Kerala. Dr. Rajul Sindhi of Ujjain and companions will present Shiva Mahima in the form of folk singing. On the last day on March 3, Shri Manoj Shrivastava will deliver a lecture on the topic “Shiva Marriage Context: Philosophy and Demonstration”. Dr. Khushbu Panchal and companions will present Shiv Anand Tandav dance drama. Painting camp and exhibition will also be organised by the artists of Government Institute of Fine Arts, Indore.

Akhil Bharatiya Kavi Sammelan at Bhojpur Temple

The three-day event of Mahadev Utsav will be inaugurated at the famous Shiv Mandir, Bhojpur. On the first day, on 1st March, Shri Asharam Sharma of Bhopal and his team will present folk songs, besides Shri Nishant-Prashant Malik of Delhi will also perform. Along with this, Shiv centric dance drama will be presented by Sangeeta Sharma and group of Delhi Badhai and Baredi folk dance will be presented by Shri Jugalkishore Namdev and team of Sagar. On the second day on Wednesday, Matki folk dance will be presented by Krishna Verma of Ujjain, Mumbai’s Sandhya Purecha and her group will perform Om Shiv Sarvamayam and Tripti Shakya of Delhi and team will perform devotional songs. Akhil Bharatiya Kavi Sammelan will be held on the last day of the festival, in which Dr. Kumar Vishwas of New Delhi, Sushri Shikha Deepti of Noida, Shri Shambhu Shikhar, Shri Madan Mohan Samar of Bhopal and Shri Sandeep Sharma of Dhar will recite poetry. Shiva Mahima Bhakti Sangeet to be organized in Mhow

Mahadev Samaroha will be held at 6:30 pm at Chakki Wale Mahadev Temple, Haat Maidan in Mhow. In this, Shiv Mahima Bhakti Sangeet will be presented by Sushri Tripti Shakya and group from Prayagraj, Bharatnatyam and Chhau dance form ‘Maheshwara’ by Rakesh Saibabu and group from New Delhi and Katthi dance by Sri Lakshmi Narayan and group of Harda. Along with this, an exhibition of watercolor paintings of 84 Mahadevs in Ujjain of painter Shri Amol Pawar will also be organized.

Three day Mahadev Samaroha in Ujjain

Mahadev Samaroha will be held from 1st to 3rd March at Triveni Art Museum in Ujjain, the city of Mahakal. Lectures based on Lord Shiva, painting camp, dance drama, group dance, devotional singing and folk singing will be organized in the function.

Shiva Mahima – Bundeli Folk Singing in Siddhanath Temple Panna

Gotipua and Gudumbaja dance along with Shiva Mahima Bundeli folk singing and devotional singing will be performed during Mahadev celebrations at Agastya Muni Ashram Siddhanath Temple from 4 pm onwards. Devotional singing will be presented by Sushri Muskan Chaurasia and colleagues of Balaghat, Gotipua dance by Shri Chandramani Pradhan and colleagues of Orissa, Gudumbaja dance by Shri Tuleshwar and colleagues of Dindori and Bundeli folk songs would be sung by Shri Gaya Prasad Prajapati and colleagues of Raisen.

Organized presentations of dance, singing in a two-day event in Vidisha

A two-day Mahadev Utsav is being organized on Mahashivratri in Vidisha’s Gram Panchayat Amkheda Kalu. It will feature dance and singing performances centered on Lord Shiva. On the first day of the function, there will be Malvi folk singing by Shri Mangilal Kulshrestha and colleagues of Agar Malwa, Ardhanarishvar dance drama by Kala Samiti of Bhopal and Shri K. Damodar Rao, Vani Rao and group will present devotional songs. On the second and last day Shri Debjani Basu and colleagues of Kolkata will perform Shiv Stuti in Kathak dance style and Shri Surya Prakash Srivastava of Bhopal and colleagues and Shri Akhilesh Tiwari and colleagues will present devotional songs. Sushri Sandhya Purecha and group of Mumbai will perform Om Shiv Sarvamayam Bharatnatya dance form forcussed on Lord Shiva at Mahadev Parisar in the famous Pashupatinath Temple Mandsaur. Shiva Mahima Bhakti will be sung by Sushri Kirti Dubey of Bhopal and her group and Sugandevi and group of Mandsaur. Painting camp and exhibition based on Lord Shiva will also be organized by the artists of Government Institute of Fine Arts, Dhar from 12 noon on the day of Mahashivratri.

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan held discussions with senior officials of Central and Madhya Pradesh government regarding the children trapped in Ukraine during his stay in New Delhi and inquired about the updated situation. The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed the Housing Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh and other officials to ensure that the children of Madhya Pradesh who are returning New Delhi from Ukraine through various means, should be provided accommodation, food and other arrangements. Make necessary arrangements for the children by making them tension free.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all such children should be assured that they will not face any problem. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was told by the officials that he is in constant touch with the guardians. Students are reaching New Delhi from Ukraine by different flights. Tomorrow from Ukraine one flight will come to Mumbai and two flights will come to Delhi. So far 29 children of Madhya Pradesh have come to India. On Monday evening 6 children have come back safely.

It is noteworthy that since last 4 days the office of the residential commissioner of Madhya Pradesh government located in New Delhi is working day and night. Responsibility has been entrusted to each officer for this important task. The office located in New Delhi is in constant touch with the Chief Minister’s Office, Bhopal.

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel has said that for success in life, it is necessary to have sensitivity along with knowledge. Success in life is sure to come if the education and values ​​received in university life are put into practice. He said that the most important thing in taking forward the society is to be broad-minded. When every citizen of the country thinks of self-reliance, only then will the nation become self-reliant.

Governor Shri Patel was addressing the 11th convocation ceremony of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidylaya at Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre. Principal Secretary Technical Education Shri Akash Tripathi was also present.

Governor Shri Patel called upon the students to take up the responsibility of development of the poor, backward and deprived sections. Contribute with this spirit in the development of the nation and society. He said that sensitivity is the basis of human life. That is why nature has given humans special abilities to think, understand, learn and communicate. He said that development is the same, which includes everyone’s cooperation, trust and effort.

Shri Patel said that the services done with dedication gives the joy of self-satisfaction. He said that in your successes in future, do not forget the struggle that your parents went through in the past and the cooperation of teachers. Also remember their contribution to future life successes.

Chairman of All India Council for Technical Education, Shri Anil D. Sahastrabuddhe said that the convocation is a pledge of self-study and lifelong education. The present time is of rapid change of knowledge and technology. One must be constantly updated for degree to remain relevant in the future. He said that sincere work and behavior of every student would make India a Vishwa Guru. He called upon the teachers to prepare curriculum for more and more silent platforms.

Vice-Chancellor Shri Sunil Kumar told in the convocation report of the university that from the coming academic session, study material would be made available for the study of engineering in Hindi medium. He informed that the first year engineering books have been translated and published in Hindi. Arrangements have been made by the university to award degrees in minor courses along with majors. At present 5 thousand students are studying in the university premises. A target has been set to increase it to 15,000 by the year 2030.
