Bihar Poll: Allotment of Broadcast/Telecast time doubled for each party to aid non-contact based campaign during Covid-19

Bihar, October 9. Election Commission of India, in consultation with Prasar Bharti Corporation has decided to double the broadcast/telecast time allotted to each National Party and recognized State Party of Bihar. These broadcast/telecast will be made on Doordarshan and All India Radio during the ongoing General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Bihar, 2020.

Earlier today, the ECI has also relaxed Public Notice Time Period for Registration of Political Parties in regard with the restrictions due to Covid 19 pandemic.
