The year 2020 is being celebrated as Birth Centenary of revered ‘Acharya Mahapragya Ji (1920-2020)’. Acharya Ji wrote about 400 books in different languages. Today i.e. 23rd October 2020, Muni Shri Vinay Alok Ji donated a set of selected 121 books written by Acharya Ji to the A.C. Joshi Library, Panjab University, Chandigarh so that more and more readers may go through these books, pursue research and enrich their life.
Prof. V.R. Sinha, Dean Research was the Chief Guest and accepted the books on behalf of the Panjab University. Prof. Ronki Ram, Dean, Faculty of Arts was the Guest of Honour.
Dr. Jivesh Bansal, University Librarian convened the ceremony.
