Kargil, June 29, 2022 :- Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan today visited the campus of Ladakh Academy to assess ‘Free SSC Coaching’ being provided by LAHDC Kargil and District Administration.
The CEC interacted with students and asked them about the quality of education provided and enquired from them about their preparation for the SSC exams.
Khan said LAHDC and District Administration organized the free coaching for aspirants and as per rule under the subsidy component, a portion of the share was to be given by the beneficiary, but they have exempted students from this charge and it was made 100 percent free.
He asserted that students should prepare for the examination and make all efforts in order to bring laurels to Kargil by bagging maximum posts in the said examination.
The CEC also took feedback from students and assured them that for the upcoming SSRB posts, a similar kind of coaching will be provided and efforts will be taken by the LAHDC for notification of the posts at the earliest.
Khan directed the concerned of Ladakh Academy and faculty to extent their full support in order to guide and teach the students.
The CEC also said that Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres have been established at different locations in Kargil which will be beneficial for students who otherwise had to travel to Srinagar and Leh to appear for the exams.
Pertinently students will be taken to CBT centres to appear in mock tests.
Accounts Officer to DC Kargil Shamim Ahmad, founder Ladakh Academy Ghulam Mohammad Khan, faculty members, students and other concerned were present on the occasion.
