Chief Electoral Officer of Punjab, Dr. S Karuna Raju today handed over the final published photo electoral rolls to the representatives of various political parties here in the form of CDs.
Giving further details, Dr. Raju said that the process of final publication of the photo electoral rolls has been concluded on 07.02.2020 on the date of eligibility to register as a voter in Punjab as per instructions of Election Commission of India. A meeting in this regard has been convened with recognized political parties in the office of Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, in which they were handed over the CDs of electoral rolls (without photos).
Representatives of All India Trinamool Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party, Communist Party of India (Marxist), Nationalist Congress Party, Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal were present in the meeting.
