CM dedicates and lays foundation stones of developments projects worth Rs. 133 crore in Nachan Assembly constituency

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated and laid foundation stones of various developmental projects worth about Rs. 133 crore in Nachan Vidhan Sabha area of Mandi district through video conferencing from here today.
Jai Ram Thakur dedicated 17.500 kilometers Hafwana Panyas road constructed at a cost of Rs. 8.65 crore under PMGSY, five kilometers Jaidevi Sianji road built by spending Rs.2.42 crore, 6.200 kilometers Piplu to Magar road constructed with an outlay of Rs.1.48 crore, four kilometers maintenance and tarring of Mandogalu to Fangyar road done at a cost of Rs. 2.50 crore and Rs. 1.20 crore lift water supply scheme Salwahan, Bag, Lahra and Lower Kot.

Chief Minister laid foundation stones of building of Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya Gohar at Gudahari to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 53.82 crore, indoor stadium in Government Degree College, Bassa to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 6.98 crore, science lab building in Government Senior Secondary School, Dhangyara to be built at a cost of Rs. 1.36 crore, Science Lab building in Government Senior Secondary School, Phangwas to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.36 crore, Rs. 67 lakh 18 meters span jeepable bridge over Jyuni khad at Samnos, 1.39 crore 40 meters span jeepable bridge over Jyuni khad at Shalla, Rs. 1.26 crore 36 meter span jeepable bridge over Jyuni khad at Ropa, Rs.1.39 crore 40 meters span jeepable bridge over Kansa khad at Bhour.

Jai Ram Thakur also performed foundation stone laying ceremonies of Rs.8.54 crore 11.200 kilometers upgradation of Chail to Moviseri link road under PMGSY, Rs. 3.50 crore 6.200 kilometers upgradation of Syan Dhaban road, Rs. 6.69 crore Bhalothi-Saryach road, Rs. 1.94 crore 40 meters span box Girder bridge at Daul over Jeuni khad on Sianj-Daul –Ropa road, Rs. 1.91 crore lift water supply scheme for Chhaneri Nehra-Palohta in Gram Panchayat Palahota, Rs. 2.82 crore lift water supply scheme to partially habitations of the area, Rs. 15.73 crore lift water supply scheme for partially covered habitations of gram panchayats Kanaid, Bhour, Durgrain, Chhatter etc., Rs. 3.14 crore water supply scheme Dhaban and Tanda , Rs. 2.24 crore lift water supply scheme for villages Dhisti, Lot, Tunna and Shalla, Rs. 40 lakh Inspection Hut Kamrunag, Rs. 70 lakh Forest Rest House Jachh and Rs. 50 lakh extention of Forest Rest House (FRH) Devidarh.

Chief Minister said that the State Government was poised to make Himachal Pradesh a frontrunner State of the country in matter of development. He directed that all the developmental projects, foundation stones of which was laid by him today, should be completed within the stipulated time period. He said that the previous State Government did nothing on ground and in last year of its tenure, went to foundation stone laying spree in different parts of the State and all these projects were completed by the present State Government.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the State Government has launched several welfare schemes for the weaker sections of the society. He said that about 50,000 grievances have been settled in 189 Jan Manch organized in the State. He said that over 69,000 issues have been redressed under the Mukhya Mantri Sewa Sankalp Helpline 1100. He said that 5.70 eligible people has been provided social security pension at an enhanced rate.

Chief Minister said that under the Grihini Suvidha Yojna as many as 2.77 lakh free gas connections have been provided to the eligible households. He said that around 86,000 people have been provided relief under the Him Care scheme by providing them assistance of Rs 77 crore. He said that under the Sahara Yojna, about 6600 families were provided financial assistance of Rs 3.50 crore.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the people of Nachan have contributed over Rs 32 lakh generously towards the PM CAREs and CM COVID Fund. Not only this, the party functionaries prepared masks and distributed the same among the people of the area.

Jal Shakti and Horticulture Minister Mohinder Singh Thakur said that the present State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was committed towards alround development of the State. He said that the State was fortunate to have an honest and hardworking Chief Minister to lead the State. He said that in a short period of about two and a half years, the State was fast emerging ahead on the path of progress and prosperity. He said that even in the Corona pandemic the pace of development was going on uninterrupted throughout the State and credit of this goes to the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. He said that water supply and drinking water supply schemes worth Rs 176 crore and PWD schemes worth Rs. 104 crore were being executed in Nachan Vidhan Sabha area.

Member of Parliament Ram Swaroop Sharma also spoke on the occasions and detailed various schemes launched by the Centre Government for upliftment of the weaker sections of the society. He said that Ujjavala Yojna and Grihini Suvidha Yojna have provided relief to the lakhs of women from kitchen smoke.

Local MLA Vinod Kumar detailed various developmental demands of the area. He said that Nachan area has witnessed unprecedented development under the leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.

District BJP President Dilip Singh Thakur, Mandal BJP President Sohan Singh, General Secretary Hukam were present on the occasion among others.
