Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted a Munga sapling in the premises of his residence. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan is planting saplings every day as per his resolve. Sahjan, known by the names of senjan, munga or drumstick, is full of medicinal properties. Different parts of it have the properties to prevent various diseases. It is rich in a variety of multi-vitamins, anti-oxidants, pain relievers and amino acids. Sahjan also contains a large amount of Vitamin-C. Its raw-green beans are used the most.
