DDC Kulgam reviews pace/ progress of projects of R&B dept

KULGAM, MAY 29, 2021: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today convened a meeting of R&B department to review the progress of roads, buildings, bridges and other developmental works undertaken by R&B under CRF, NABARD, State sector and languishing projects in the district.
At the outset, the Ex. Engineer R&B gave a detailed brief about the ongoing developmental projects being executed by R&B in the district.
While reviewing the project wise physical and financial progress of all developmental works, the DDC asked the R&B department to expedite the progress of ongoing developmental projects and complete them within a given time frame.
Directions were also issued to concerned officers to gear up men and machinery for effective and timely completion of these developmental projects including Laroo Munadguffan, Daderkoot  Behibagh and other vital road projects so that these projects can be dedicated to the public.
Earlier, the DDC also chaired a meeting regarding implementation of the PMGSY program in the district.
During the meeting it was informed that 46 road projects and one major bridge project are under different stages of execution in the district with a length of 83.41Kms.
The meeting was attended by ADC, ACR, Executive Engineer PMGSY Division Kulgam along with AEEs and other officers of the department.
