Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains begins Punjab tour to understand ground realities of government schools

All the districts will visit  in April

Tour start from border district Fazilka

To make the school policy better, it is necessary to understand the ground requirements well: Harjot Singh Bains

Chandigarh, April 4 :- 

          To be well aware of the ground reality of government schools in the state, School Education Minister Mr Harjot Singh Bains has started a State tour.

          The tour is being started today from the Fazilka district and will continue throughout April.

          Mr Bains will start his tour on 4th April 2023 from  Fazilka and on April 5 in Ferozepur,  Ropar and Mohali on April 6, Amritsar on April 7 and 8, Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Bathinda, Sri Muktsar Sahib on April 12 and 13, Jalandhar on April 17, Fatehgarh Sahib on April 18,  They will inspect schools in Patiala, Ludhiana, Malerkotla, Faridkot, Moga and Barnala on April 20, 21 and 22, Sangrur and Mansa on April 24, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Pathankot and Gurdaspur on April 27, 28 and 29.

          During this visit, Mr Bains will get information about new admissions, books, uniforms, and the basic structure of schools.

          Giving information about his visit, Education Minister Mr Harjot Singh Bains said that as per the instructions of  Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the policy of the school education department can be made by understanding the ground needs to make it better, for which this visit is very important instead of sitting in the offices of Chandigarh.

          He said that  The government led by Bhagwant Mann has promised to provide the best education to the people of Punjab which they will leave no stone unturned to fulfil.
