Center of Excellence to Be Setup in Dairy Sector
Jaipur, 6 March. To provide better facilities to livestock breeders in the state a
Center of Excellence in the dairy sector will soon be established in Rajasthan with the
help of Denmark. Danish Ambassador Freddy Svane discussed this while
meeting Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at the latter’s residence on Saturday.
Shri Svane assured to provide all possible cooperation to the state in order to
avail benefits of the advancements made by Denmark in the field of dairy science
and technology. The two dignitaries also talked about the possibilities of cooperation
in the water conservation and river rejuvenation sectors. It was further discussed that the
Danish companies were providing good technical support for the ongoing water
conservation and river rejuvenation works in Udaipur.
Gehlot talked to Svane about the possibilities of cooperation and
investment in agriculture and animal husbandry, food, green technology and
chemical & textile sectors etc. Outlines of cooperation between Rajasthan and
Denmark for the drinking water supplies sector was also deliberated upon.
The Chief Minister shared details of various measures taken and the policy
frameworks established by the Government of Rajasthan during the past two years in
order to create an investor-friendly atmosphere in the state. He said that several
provisions of exemptions had been made for the manufacturing and service sectors
through the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme-2019. ' One Stop Shop' system
had been implemented in the state to offer all approvals and sanctions at one place
and within a stipulated time period, he said.
CM Shri Gehlot invited the Danish firms to invest in the state.
