Mrs. Sonali Giri Deputy Commissioner has issued new guidelines for the private diagnostic centres. As per the orders no private diagnostic centers should charge any amount more than Rs. 2000/- for CT-scan/HRCT chest, inclusive of GST/Taxes, for COVID-19 documentation and reporting in district Rupnagar. Furthermore all Private diagnostic centers who are conducting CT-Chest scan must have to share their data with Civil Surgeon’s office and they should not declare any COVID positive or negative report on the basis of CT-Chest scan without confirmation from COVID-19 testing lab.Likewise every diagnostic center must submit weekly report of CT-scan/HRCT chest to the respective Civil Surgeons. The diagnostic centers have also been instructed to display rates in visible manner.
