Gita Mahotsav to be held from December 17-25 in Kurukshetra
Chandigarh, December 14: – International Gita Mahotsav will be held from December 17 to 25, 2020 in Kurukshetra, Haryana. This year keeping in view the situation of Covid-19 pandemic, seminars and discussions based on Gita will be conducted online while Aarti, Global Chanting and other programmes will be telecast live from Kurukshetra.
Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the International Gita Mahotsav will be held at all 134 pilgrimage sites located within 48 Kos. The main events will be held at Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra. The Gita verses recitation will be conducted in Jyotisar from December 21 to 26, 2020. In addition to this, a Sant Seminar will be held at Kurukshetra University on December 24, 2020. He informed that Gita Global Chanting will be conducted through online mode on December 25, 2020 and ‘Deep Daan’ a ceremony of floating lamps in water will be held at Purushottam Pura Bagh, Brahma Sarovar.
