Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said here today that the Government of India has released Rs. 171.20 crore to the State as the second installment of the State Disaster Relief Fund (SDRF) 2022-23. The State Government had requested the Government of India to release this installment.

The Chief Minister thanked the Government of India for releasing the second installment of SDRF.
He said that Rs. 19.20 crore would also be released by the State Government as its share in this instalment. In this way, the second installment of the State Disaster Relief Fund would be of total Rs. 190.40 crore. He said that this fund would be utilized for providing appropriate assistance to the affected people, besides carrying on relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction activities in the State.
