Speedy disposal of public grievances coming in ‘Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System'

Chandigarh, September 14 – Haryana, Higher Education Department has directed all the Principals of Government Colleges, Registrars of Universities, Commanding Officers of NCC Units and Library Heads of District/Sub-Divisional Libraries to ensure prompt disposal of public grievances received at ‘Centralized Public Grievances Redress and Monitoring System’.

Sharing information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the maximum time for disposal of complaints received on the said portal has now been reduced by the government to 45 days from 60 days. Thus, if the complaint is not resolved within the stipulated time due to the matter being sub-judice or being a policy-matter, an interim reply will have to be given on the portal.

Besides this, the officials concerned have been asked to give priority to COVID- related complaints which have to be resolved within a duration of three days. Furthermore, instructions have also been given by the Department to send weekly reports of pending complaints to the nodal officers.
