Explain anti-party utterances in person on Dec 6 – SAD disciplinary comm to Jagmeet Brar

Chandigarh, December 2 – Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Disciplinary Committee Chairman Sikandar Singh Maluka has asked former MP Jagmeet Brar to explain his anti-party utterances in person at 12 noon on December 6 at the party headquarter here before the committee.

A letter to this effect has been sent to Mr Jagmeet Brar by the Disciplinary Committee Chairman today.

The letter states disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the former MP for engaging in anti-party activities. It said that the committee had already expressed its dissatisfaction with the reply submitted by the former MP in reply to the show cause notice issued to him earlier. It noted that instead of falling in line, Mr Brar was continuing with the process of constituting his own committees besides engaging in anti-party activities. Mr Maluka has asked the former MP to submit a written reply to the Committee on December six besides appearing before it in person.
