As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, total 66 persons were tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 37 positive reports while CMO Kargil received 29 positive reports.
With the death of one more patient from Covid-19 in Leh district, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 39; 16 in Leh and 23 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that 23 patients in Leh and 04 patients in Kargil were discharged yesterday after their negative sample reports were received.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 841; 465 in Leh district and 376 in Kargil district. It further reports that 11 samples were sent to NCDC New Delhi for testing by CMO Leh.
The bulletin further details that 281 passengers were screened at Leh Airport today. Similarly, at Upshi check post 130 passengers including drivers and helpers of 92 tankers, trucks and light vehicles were screened. Also 108 passengers including 191 drivers and helpers of 216 tankers, trucks and light vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post yesterday. Vehicles were also sanitized.
