NCC cadets from eight states and union territories are undergoing training

December 15, 2021 is the last day of the training camp of All India Special Yachting Camp Naval Sainik Node organised for eight states and union territories by 1 MP Naval Unit NCC under the joint aegis of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and NCC Group Headquarters. Camp Commandant Commander Shri OP Sharma informed that the eight-day camp has been organised in Khanugaon, Bhopal from December 8. Along with training, various competitions are also being organised daily in the camp. Best performers will be rewarded.

Camp Commandant Commander Shri OP Sharma informed that 24 cadets from NCC Directorates of Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and Chandigarh are participating in the All India Special Yachting Camp. He said that during the camp, yachting practice is being conducted along with swimming, EP sailing boat and sailing training. The training based on the curriculum of Yachting Associate of India is being given by Master Chief Naik & CPO Shri Vipin Mishra.

In the training, Navy cadets will be awarded Yachting Association of India Level 1,2,3 certificates. Prizes will be distributed on the last day of the camp to the winners of sports competitions, spontaneous speech, rangoli, drawing, boat police tug of war and cultural programmes organised in the camp.
