Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a grand programme will be organised at Patalpani on December 4 with the aim of paying homage to the immortal revolutionary Tantya Bhil. Tantya Bhil fought against exploitation and sacrificed himself to free Mother India from the shackles of subjugation. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that to keep the memory of Tantya Bhil intact, a proposal to rename Patalpani railway station as Amar Krantikari Tantya Bhil railway station would be sent to the Central Government immediately. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said this in his address before the meeting of the Council of Ministers in Mantralaya. The meeting of the Cabinet began with the recitation of Vande Mataram.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Veer Tantya Bhil was hanged in Jabalpur Jail. His last rites were performed at Patalpani near Mhow. He is revered by us. The state government has decided that tributes will be paid to him with full respect. Tantya Mama was born in Baroda Ahir village near Pandhana in Khandwa district. The yatra will begin by taking the soil of Baroda Ahir in the urn. Similarly a yatra will also start from Sailana. These yatras will meet at Dhar on 3rd December and will reach Patalpani on 4th December. The yatra will pass through the districts of Khandwa, Burhanpur, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Dewas, Ujjain, Ratlam and Indore. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the ministers in-charge of these districts, district collectors and various organsations should ensure necessary arrangements in coordination.

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the line “Shaheedon ki chitaon par lagenge har baras mele-vatan par mitne walon ka yahi baki nisan hoga” (Fairs will be held every year at the pyres of the martyrs- this will be the last mark of those who made supreme sacrifice for the nation) is the source of inspiration for the programme. This programme is being held in line with the spirit of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s 75th year of Independence of remembering and paying homage to all the martyrs and immortal revolutionaries.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the birthday of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee is also celebrated as Good Governance Day on 25th December. Therefore, a special campaign will be conducted in the state from December 25 to January 26. The objective of the campaign will be to ensure that the benefits and facilities being available to them in the schemes being run for the welfare of the general public are easily accessible to every person, there should be no problem in it. The departments should review the benefits and facilities of the concerning department. If any improvement is required in making the facilities accessible to the beneficiaries easily, then the implementation of such reforms should be ensured. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all the ministers in charge must review the major infrastructure works going on in their respective districts once before December 25.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that vaccination mega campaign will be held again on November 24. All restrictions related to Corona have been lifted by the state government. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that in the corona test held yesterday, 12 cases have come positive in the state. Twelve cases is not much, but this number has come from units to tens. A total of 12 people have also recovered. There are about 90 active cases in the state. Therefore vaccination is necessary. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it is the duty of the people of the state to get the corona vaccine. Vaccination has been made mandatory in colleges, schools, hostels along with for government employees. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the ministers in charge of the districts should ensure creation of atmosphere and make intensive efforts to ensure cent percent vaccination in their respective districts by the end of December.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan congratulated Indore for coming first in cleanliness for the fifth time in a row. The people of Indore, all public representatives, MPs, MLAs, administrative staff deserve congratulations. Indore has developed a wonderful and exemplary model of cleanliness on the basis of public participation. The state has overall performed well in the field of sanitation. Our state is at number three in the country. The Chief Minister congratulated all the bodies of the state which have made achievements in the field of cleanliness. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that with the inspiration of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, our efforts for cleanliness will go on continuously. For next year, the process will start from January. Those bodies which are left behind, there is a need to make special efforts from now with the aim of motivating them for cleanliness. The state government will continue to be active in this direction.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that after reviewing the supply of manure in the districts under their charge, all the ministers should keep an eye on the availability of manure during sowing and the status of procurement of paddy in paddy producing districts.

Home, Jail, Parliamentary Affairs, Law and Legislative Affairs Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra expressed gratitude for the implementation of Police Commissioner system in Indore and Bhopal by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. Home Minister Dr. Mishra said that there has been continuous improvement in the law and order situation in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. Now not a single dacoit gang is active in Gwalior-Chambal and Vindhya region. Naxalite activities have come down to zero in Balaghat area. SIMI network has been demolished in Bhopal and Malwa zones. The police commissioner system will be effective in increasing the self-confidence and morale of the police and in better control of crimes.

Water Resources, Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development Minister Shri Tulsi Silawat congratulated on behalf of the people of Indore for Indore coming first for the fifth consecutive time in cleanliness under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan and expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. All the members of the Cabinet congratulated Chief Minister Shri Chouhan for his achievement in cleanliness.
