Team Stringmo meets Administrator, Municipal Committee to discuss “Waste to Art” workshop

Team Stringmo led by its President Kaneez, today called on Imteeaz Kacho, Joint Director, Information/ Administrator, Municipal Committee Kargil to discuss the upcoming “Waste to Art” workshop as a segment of the nation-wide Swachhata Hi Seva campaign in the run-up to Gandhi Jayanti.

The workshop is aimed at raising awareness about waste management by transforming waste into creative art, fostering environmental consciousness among the public.

While discussing the scope of participation of groups like Stringmo in the workshop, which will also see display/ exhibition of junk-art, Kacho highlighted the other events lined up on a daily basis starting from September 14.

He invited the Stringmo group, mentored by Sajjad Hussain (Bob), to participate in the day-long event and lead by example. He appreciated the efforts of the group towards raising awareness and consciousness about various crucial issues.

Team Stringmo exuded confidence about the success of the entire campaign and said it looks forward to contributing to Kargil’s vision of a cleaner and greener environment.
