Leh, June 25 2021 The four-day online trainer’s training programme on employability, entrepreneurship and life skills for the second batch of ITI vocational trainers of Ladakh organised by the National Institute for Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development (NIESBUD) in collaboration with Commonwealth Education Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA) and Department of Technical Education & Skill Development, Ladakh, concluded today.
A total of 29 participants, including faculties of Govt Polytechnic Colleges of Leh and Kargil; Government Degree College Leh, Kargil, Nubra, Drass, Zanskar, and officials of the Incubation Centre of the Industries & Commerce Department, Ladakh, attended the training program in the second batch. A similar training attended by 24 trainers of the Industrial Training Institute of Leh and Kargil was held in the first batch from May 27 to June 1, 2021.
NIESBUD is a premier organisation of the Ministry of Skill Development in entrepreneurship, engaged in training, consultancy, research, etc., in order to promote entrepreneurship and skill development. Likewise, CEMCA has been working to promote Open, Distance and Media enabled learning in the Commonwealth countries of the Asian region.
This training is being imparted with the objective to establish a system that ensures systematically skilling a person and produce skilled youth in sync with their cultural context, aspirations and the demand of the market.
