Chandigarh: Private schools release schedule for nursery admission
Chandigarh, November 26
Chandigarh private schools have released the schedule for nursery admission for the upcoming session. It will soon be finalised by the UT Education department.
As per the tentative schedule, the issue and receipt of admission forms will be made available on school websites from 3rd December till 16th December. The list of eligible candidates will be displayed by 15th January. Following this, the finalisation of selected candidates and waiting list will be displayed by 1st February.
Rs 100 will be charged for registration fees whereas admission form will be free of cost.
As per reports, the schools will emphasise on admissions through online mode as much as possible but for people who want to proceed through offline admission procedure, all Covid protocols will be followed.

1. Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26
- Seats: 160
- EWS seats: 40
- Age limit: Children born between 1st April, 2015 and 31st March, 2016
- Entry level: KG
- Draw of lots: 21st and 22nd January
2. St. Anne’s School, Sector 32 (Minority Status)
- Seats: 200
- Age limit: Children born between 1st April, 2016 and 31st March, 2017
- Entry level: LKG
- Draw of lots: 22nd January
3. St. John High School, Sector 26 (Minority)
- Seats: 160
- Only boys
- Age limit: Boys born between 1st April, 2015 and 31st March, 2016
- Entry level: UKG
- Draw of lots: 22nd January
4. St. Xavier’s School, Sector 44
- Seats: First-come-first-served basis
- Age limit: 2 and a half years
- Entry level: Pre-nursery
