DC Kargil takes stock of works for establishment of One Stop Center, renovation works of Auditorium Kargil
KARGIL FEBRUARY 22, 2021: Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve took stock of the ongoing works for establishment of One Stop Center and renovation works of Auditorium Kargil here today.
Chief Planning Officer Kargil Abdul Hadi, Executive Engineer R&B II Kacho Mehmood Ali besides other concerned officers accompanied the DC during the tour.
The DC inquired from the officers concerned about the status of progress achieved on the establishment of the One Stop Center which is being set up in the district to provide integrated support and assistance to women affected by violence, both in private and public spaces under one roof and to facilitate immediate, emergency and non-emergency access to a range of services including medical, legal, psychological and counseling support under one roof to fight against any forms of violence against women.
DC Santosh also inspected the refurbishing and renovation works of the Auditorium Kargil where he also inspected the sound system, lighting, designs, heating system, seating arrangements and other related aspects.
The DC instructed the contractor and the departments concerned to fast pace the execution of works and complete the remaining works within the stipulated time frame. He also stressed officers concerned to keep in mind all quality and quantity parameters during the execution of work.
