Haryana Government vehicles to now be refuelled from local petrol pumps and gas filling stations
Chandigarh, March 3: Haryana Government vehicles will now be refuelled from local petrol pumps and gas filling stations under Haryana Land Reclamation and Development Corporation (HLRDC). Chairman, Haryana Bureau of Public Enterprises, Subhash Barala said this while giving directions to start efforts in this direction during a review meeting of the work being done by the Haryana Bureau of Public Enterprises.
While giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that HLRDC has been asked to initiate the process of informing various departments about this. Efforts will be made to refuel all government vehicles and outsourced vehicles with petrol and LPG at local government petrol pumps, he added.
He said that government vehicles will also be able to refuel from local petrol pumps and gas stations under Haryana Agro Industries Corporation Limited and Public Sector Undertakings. At present, there are a total of two petrol pumps and three gas stations under HLRDC, he added. He said that there are a total of six petrol pumps under Haryana Agro Industries Corporation Limited and Public Sector Undertaking as well.
He said that it was decided in the meeting to discuss that needy women in the state should be linked with self-help groups of the villages through Haryana Women Development Corporation Limited. The move aims to make women financially competent, he added. He said that directions were given to the Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation to identify families living below the poverty line.
