LHA felicitates Kargil girls representing Ladakh in National Handball Championship
KARGIL, MARCH 27, 2021: The Ladakh Handball Association (LHA) today organized a welcome and appreciation ceremony to felicitate the 3 female players from Kargil who represented Ladakh UT in the national Handball championship held at Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh recently.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kargil Muhammad Hussain Rehnuma, social worker Er Ahmad Ali, Former Councillor, LAHDC Kargil and General Secretary LHA Muhammad Ali, coaches and female athletes were present on the occasion.
On behalf of the LHA, the guests presented traditional khataks and certificates of appreciation to the players and lauded their tremendous effort in bringing laurels to Ladakh UT in general and Kargil district in particular.
Pertinently, for the first time in the history of Kargil 3 girl players, Yasmeen Akhtar Pashkum, Zareena Batool Yurbaltak and Maqsooma Ameen Goma Kargil represented the district at the Senior National Championship held at Bareilly, UP from 17th to 20th March, 2021.
