PSPCL IS GOING TO FILL TWO THOUSAND VACANT POSTS OF ASSISTANT LINEMAN SOON: HARBHAJAN SINGH ETO

Chandigarh, September 12:

With the firm commitment of the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the recruitment process is underway to fill two thousand posts of Assistant Lineman in Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) and this process will be completed soon in a free, fair and transparent manner.

Divulging details Punjab Power Minister Mr. Harbhajan Singh said that PSPCL had invited online applications for 1690 posts of Assistant Linemen through earlier advertisement but now the advertisement has been revised to increase the number of these posts to two thousand.

 The Cabinet Minister said that eligible candidates have the opportunity to apply till September 20, 2022 through an online medium. He informed that a helpline number 96461-15646 has also been issued by the department regarding this recruitment, if any candidate faces any problem while applying online, they can contact the helpline from 9 am to 5 pm during working hours.

The Minister said that detailed information regarding these posts has been uploaded on the website of the department, from where candidates can get information. Candidates can fetch more details and the latest information regarding this recruitment from the website. The online examination will be conducted for these posts, in which a minimum of 25% marks for the general category and 20% for the reserved category will be required. The prescribed syllabus and sample question paper related to these exams have already been uploaded on the website.

Harbhajan Singh ETO further informed that the Punjab government is committed to creating new employment vistas for the youth of the state. He exhorted that a large number of youths will get employment in various departments of the state in the coming months.
