Schemes expected to bring about a paradigm shift in the working of Income Tax Department and create a more transparent working environment
Favorable Response encourages Department to hold more webinars to further spread the knowledge about these schemes

Income Tax Department, Mohali has been organizing webinars (virtual meetings) with various trade association/Bar Counsels/C.As of Mohali, informed the Income Tax Department through a press release here today.
Such webinars are being organized by the Mohali Range, in connection with Transparent Taxation and Faceless Assessment Scheme launched by the Prime Minister of India on August 13,2020. These schemes will bring about a paradigm shift in the working of Income Tax Department and will create a more transparent working environment.
The webinars were attended by various trade associations, representatives of taxpayers and taxpayers themselves in good numbers.
Income Tax Department is planning to hold more such webinars to further spread the knowledge about these schemes. In this new scheme, various assessment units have been created for faceless assessment at various places.
