JKAACL Sub office Rajouri condoles demise of renowned Kashmiri poet Aziz Hajini
RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 12 2021 Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) sub office Rajouri and other intellectuals of Peer Panjal group have condoled the demise of renowned Kashmiri writer, poet and critic, Aziz Hajini.
Aziz Hajini was a Sahitya academy award winner and was also a convener of Sahitya Akademi for New Delhi’s Northern Regional Board. He also served as a Government School Teacher for 30 years and was later appointed as Assistant Professor in Centre for Shaikh-ul Aalam Studies, University of Kashmir.
Dr Hajini also served as Secretary JKAACL from June 2015 to September 2019
The staff members of the JKAACL sub office Rajouri and other intellectuals of the Peer Panjal group said that Aziz Hajini will be remembered for his great contribution to literature and the demise of such a great literary figure is a personal loss for the people of Peer Panjal and his works will continue to influence the future generations.
Among the others present were  Farooq Muzter, Nisar Rahi, Khursheed Janam, Khursheed Bismil, Qayoom Naik, Rubina Mir, Dr Shams Kamal Anjum, Prof Mushtaq Wani, Dr Liaqat Nayyar, Aslam Mirza, Parvaiz Malik, Ashfaq Mir, Joginder Paul, KK Khaki, Sumeet Sudan, Sanjeev Khajuria, Balak Ram Bral and Amarjeet Sharma were present during the condolence meeting.
