Mohali Administration and District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise in collaboration with some 19 job provider companies offered 80 aspirants attractive jobs based on their qualifications and experience at a Job Fair, organised at the premises of Government Industrial Training Institute, Phase 5, Mohali, today.

“The job fair was held as its commitment to exploring the opportunities for the unemployed/employed fresher or experienced youth having qualifications from middle to post-graduation including ITI, Diploma and other short term skilled courses”, said the Deputy Commissioner, Aashika Jain who also led the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise SAS Nagar, the key organiser of today’s job fair.

Wishing all the best to the successful job aspirants, while handing over letters of Intent, Deputy Commissioner Jain said that the rest of the job seekers who couldn’t succeed today should gear up for the next round. She said that a total of 182 job aspirants appeared in the Job Fair today. About 21 companies like D-mart, PVR Cinemas, Tube Product of India, ICICI Banik (iProcess), LIC, Phone pe (Quess Corp), Zomato, Swigy, Blinkit, Zepto, Allena Auto Industries Pvt Ltd, Industrial tools and gauges Mohali, Ariel Telecom, Diplast Plastics, Murari services, Nik Bakers, Protalk Solutions, Mahindra Swaraj, Gillard Auto Industries, Circle of Crust etc. attended the Job fair as job providers.

Interacting with the job seekers and providers during her visit to the Job Fair, she said that Mohali as a most liked destination of investors and business tycoons, have immense potential for employment to youth with big dreams and ambitions. He said that the companies she met here have a huge potential for skilled manpower in different fields so the youth should have at least a proper education and training in job-oriented skills to rise high in their careers.

Giving tips to them, she asked them to come up at every job fair with an impressive Curriculum Vitae having all the information about their education and other skills they own with experience so that they could interact with them directly in their desirous field. She also urged them to make their job profile more stable by staying with a particular job provider for a longer time to gain experience and expertise in that particular field to compete further.

The Deputy Commissioner said that our country has immense potential and exposure for our young generation so we should stay focused on our career here.

Addressing the job providers, she urged them to submit their requirements of desired skilled manpower so that the district administration can help them meet the requirements.
She applauded the efforts of the ADC (Development) Sonam Chaudhary (CEO, DBEE), Deputy Director Harpreet Singh Manshahia, Dy CEO Sukhman Bath and Employment Officer Sukhman Mann for holding such events to make the youth self-reliant and able to contribute to the economic growth of the Country.
