MCM celebrates Rashtriya Ekta Diwas
CHANDIGARH, OCTOBER 31:
Marking the celebration of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the NSS units of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. As part of the celebration, a pledge ceremony was organized wherein the NSS volunteers took the Rashtriya Ekta pledge. The volunteers pledged to do their best for the benefit of the country by upholding ‘Unity in Diversity and following the values and ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Dedicating themselves to preserving the unity and integration of the nation, the volunteers paid a befitting tribute to the Iron Man of India and his efforts in the unification of the nation.
Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava wished fellow countrymen on the birth anniversary of the great leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. She exhorted the students and staff to live by the ideals of Sardar Patel and motivated them to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening the democratic fabric of our great nation.
