ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਅਰੁਣ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਿਲਡਰਨ ਹੋਮਜ਼ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ

As per the directions of NALSA, PAN India awareness and outreach programme is being celebrated from 2nd October, 2021 to 14th November, 2021 as a part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and  Legal Services week from 8th  November to 14th November, 2021 as a part of this campaign.

On 13.11.2021, visit was conducted at SOS Children Home  Rajpura and Children Home Patiala at Rajpura by Sh. Arun Gupta, Ld. Member Secretary, Punjab State Legal Services Authority, Mohali and Ms Parminder Kaur, CJM/Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Patiala. On the occasion of celebration of Children Day, children of SOS Children Home Rajpura  performed cultural activities like Dance, songs, speeches and Bhangra etc. They were honoured with medals and trophies.  During the visit, interaction was done by the Hon’ble Sh. Arun Gupta, Member Secretary, Punjab State Legal Services Authority, Mohali  with children regarding their study, food and grievances/problems being faced by them. During this visit, complaints/problems of the children were heard and redressed.

It was  checked whether proper food/diet/drinking water is being given to the children and whether children are satisfied with the quality of food/diet/drinking water. Further children were asked about their study and recreational/vocational activities being conducted for them. Directions were given to take special care of health and education of the children. Incharge of Children Homes were directed to ensure that there should be no laxity in the facilities provided to the children.

Sh. Sanjeev Singh Director, SOS Children’s Village Rajpura, Ms Sushma kakroo, Assistant Director of Children Home,  Ms Balwinder Kaur, Advocate and Ms Sushma Singla Advocate were also present there.
