New Guidelines for Corona Control

The state government has issued new guidelines in view of the rapid increase in the number of positive and active cases of Covid-19. Immediately after the deliberations in the virtual meeting of Crisis Management Groups held by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today, Additional Chief Secretary Home Dr. Rajesh Rajoura issued prohibitory orders with immediate effect to all the collectors and directed them to follow orders strictly.

Dr. Rajoura informed that all the schools and hostels from class 1 to class 12 will remain closed till January 31, 2022. Separate orders will be issued by the School Education Department regarding the pre-board examinations to be held in January 2022. All types of fairs (religious, commercial), in which large groups of people gather, will be prohibited. All rallies and processions will be banned. The presence of more than 250 people will be restricted in all political, cultural, religious, social, educational and entertainment events. Events/programmes can be held in closed halls with less than 50 percent attendance in the hall. Events with more than 50 percent attendance of the stadium’s capacity will be prohibited for sports related activities. Dr. Rajoura told that it will be mandatory to follow the Covid appropriate behaviour like use of mask, social distancing etc. Action should be taken to recover the fine from the persons who do not apply masks as per rules.
