JAMMU, OCTOBER 13. Government College of Education, Jammu today arranged an online painting competition to present the National Wildlife Week– on the theme ‘Sustaining all life on Earth’. The event was planned out by Prof. Harmanmeet Kaur, HOD, Department of Environmental Sciences, GCOE.
Students from various colleges enthusiastically participated in the painting competition. Sapna Devi of Government College of Education bagged the first position, while Mriga Sharma and Diksha Maltonia of Government College of Education shared the second position and Janvi Choudhary of Government Degree College, Samba bagged the third position. E-Certificates were given to the winners.
The adjudicators for the event were Dr. Pinki Manhas, Assistant Professor Environment Sciences, Government Degree College Paloura, Mishriwala and Dr. Mosmi Raina, Assistant Professor Environment Sciences, GDC Samba.
Dr. Kulvinder Kour, Principal Government College of Education, Jammu praised the efforts in making it happen and hoped that the competition conveyed the message well.
