Overwhelming Response in DBEE Ludhiana and CICU Mega Job Fair-2022

2200 youth get selection letters today

Ludhiana, May 27:- 

Today, District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises Ludhiana in collaboration with CICU organized a Mega Job Fair, in which more than 100 companies participated with the demand of 3742 candidates in different trades like Welder, Helper, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, CNC/VMC Operator, Electrician Operator, MMV & Diesel Mechanic, Computer Operator, Documentation Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Admin Executive, Digital Marketing Executive, HR Manager/Assistant, Diploma Engineer, B.A, B.COM, 12th Pass-Out and other Industrial Sectors.

Around 4000 candidates participated in this Job Fair and around 2200 Candidates were selected from various industrial trades.

DPS Kharbanda, IAS, Director, Department of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Punjab, Surabhi Malik, IAS Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, Amit Kumar Panchal IAS, ADC Rural Development cum CEO DBEE Ludhiana, Rajesh Tripathi, Additional Mission Director, PSDM and Sukhman Mann EGSDTO DBEE Ludhiana attended the Job Fair.

Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU and Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU welcomed all the participated companies and encouraged them to fulfill their demands of Manpower in this Mega Job Fair.

Sukhman Mann, EGSDTO and Navdeep Singh from District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises, Ludhiana supported the Job fair by arranging the candidates. This measure was intended at providing job opportunities and avenues available with industrial sector in Punjab to the unemployed youth.

MLAs Gurpreet Bassi Gogi, Hardeep Singh Mundian, Kulwant Singh Sidhu, Daljit Singh Grewal, Ashok Parashar Pappi and Suresh Goyal, President, AAP (Urban) visited the Job fair and distributed offer letters to the selected youth.

Along with this a self employment initiative in collaboration with 15 line departments was also taken up by DBEE staff where candidates were identified and guided to start their own ventures.
