Chandigarh, July 22- Haryana Governor, Mr. Satyadeo Narain Arya, congratulated the people of the state on Teej the festival of swings and greenery and wished for their happy and healthy life. He said that this festival is a celebration of faith, zeal, beauty, and love. The festival is celebrated to commemorate the reunion of Shiva-Parvati.
The women celebrate it by singing folk songs. He appealed to the people not to gather in public and advised them to celebrate Teej festival at home with their families. He said that the Teej festival will infuse new energy and enthusiasm among the people of the country and state.
