Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij responded to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of electoral fraud in the Maharashtra elections by saying that this is Rahul Gandhi’s “political crying.” He added that “There are many ways to cry politically — whenever they lose, they blame either the EVMs or the Election Commission. But when they win, like in Himachal or Karnataka, they don’t say anything.” In addition, Sh.Vij announced that prepaid electricity meters will first be installed in all government offices and institutes.
Energy Minister Anil Vij raised a question that “The Election Commission and EVMs are the same across all elections. The Congress party is disappearing from this country, but instead of reflecting on that, they are busy making baseless accusations. They are preparing the narrative in advance for their upcoming defeat in Bihar. The Congress party does not believe in any constitutional democracy. They have ruled with dictatorship in the past because Congress is inherently authoritarian, and that’s why they don’t trust democratic institutions.”
Congress Leader Pawan Khera Should Attend an RSS Shakha-Vij
Reacting sharply to Congress leader Pawan Khera, who called the RSS a “Rumour Spreading Society” and referred to Nathuram Godse as the first terrorist, Cabinet Minister Anil Vij taunted him, saying: “He should attend an RSS shakha (branch) for a few days and experience it for himself. Because if you don’t know something, how can you speak about it?”
Responding to former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s claim that the government has run out of funds for the Ayushman health card scheme, Sh. Vij said that “Funds are being provided. After due processing, bills are paid every month.”

On the installation of prepaid electricity meters in Haryana, Minister Anil Vij said “Just like mobile phones, where you recharge based on usage, electricity meters will now work on the same prepaid model. Users will recharge only for the electricity they plan to consume. The first phase will see these meters installed in all government offices and institutes, he said.”
