6th to 10th class students of government schools will join online under English Booster Club

Under the guidance of Education Minister Pargat Singh, efforts are being made to make the students more proficient in speaking skills. In addition to the 100-day reading campaign for government school students, the department has also taken initiative to organize special activities for English booster clubs set up in schools.

Under the guidance of guide teachers, students will be able to choose from a variety of topics from January 10 to 15 or present their ideas on a topic of their choice. This will not only help the students to become more proficient in speaking the language but will also give the students a chance to speak and express their views.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the education department said that the student members and teachers of the English booster clubs established in the schools would be connected through the video app. It will be administered by the District Mentor of English and each participating student will have 45 to 90 seconds to present their views on their chosen topic. The District Education Officer will issue letters of appreciation to the guide teachers and the participating students.
