Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Nyoma organised Kisan Mela under Kisan Bhagidari Prathumikta Hamari campaign as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in collaboration with Agriculture Department at KVK office Nyoma.

Councillor Nyoma, Ishey Spalzang was the chief guest during the event and Jigmet Angchok, SDM Nyoma, was the guest of honour.
A total of 205 farmers from different villages participated in this Kisan mela.
The stall was inaugurated by Councillor Nyoma, Ishey Spalzang and SDM Nyoma where SHG’s from different villages have displayed their products. A total 8 Self Help Groups (SHGs) brought their products.
Dr. Tashi Dolkar welcomed the guests and discussed the mandates of KVKS to farmers and delegates. On theme of natural farming pamphlet on package of practice on vermi-compost production and four pillar of Zero budget on Natural Farming were launch by chief guest and guest of honour.
Dr Jigmet Yangchan, Programme Coordinator, addressed the gathering regarding the achievements of KVK in last one year with farmers.
Tsering Dolkar,Agriculture Extension,Nyoma and BDO Nyoma discussed schemes with farmers of Nyoma block.
The event ended with the felicitation to the farmers with certificates from KVK Nyoma and boost SHG’s towards Skill India through organic farming and Natural farming by providing demonstration training at KVK Niddar farm.
