EC RDD felicitates Gram Panchayat of Rumbak village

The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson on the behalf of LAHDC, Leh extended his wishes on the National Panchayati Raj day commemorating the passing of 73rd Constitutional Amendment Act.

On the occasion, he said, “Hill Council, Leh has enhanced the budget of Panchayats to strengthen the grass root democracy in Leh district. Further, Hill Council Leh would soon conduct a conference with Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members to deliberate on various developmental issues.”
Similarly, Executive Councillor for RDD, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee visited Rumbak village to celebrate National Panchayati Raj day.
Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Govt. of India conferred Gram Panchayat Development Award to Panchayat Rumbak, Nimmo Block under the category of ‘Child-friendly village’ for their excellent child-friendly work in the appraisal year 2020-21.
EC Tashi Yakzee congratulated and also felicitated the Gram Panchayat, Rumbak in the presence of Councillor, Sku Markha, Sonam Norboo, ACD, Leh and PRI members
