DDC Chairperson Kulgam visits Kund
Takes stock of ongoing Urs Syed Noor Shah Baghdadi (RA) arrangements
KULGAM, FEBRUARY 05 2022
The District Development Council (DDC) Chairperson, Kulgam, Mohammad Afzal Parrey today visited Kund valley to take stock of arrangements for ongoing annual Urs of sufi saint Hazrat Syed Noor Shah Saheb Wali Baghdadi (RA).

DDC member Kund Gulzar Ahmad, ADC Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather and other officers accompanied the DDC Chairperson during the visit.
The week-long Urs of the saint commenced from February 01 and will continue till February 10
On the occasion, the DDC Chairperson stressed officers to ensure all the necessary arrangements to facilitate devotees who visit the shrine.
He also took stock of the availability of water and power supply scenarios and directed concerned to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply to the area during these days.
He also interacted with Auqaf members during the visit.
