Chandigarh, October 22 – Haryana Government has decided to increase the rates of diet allowance and sports kits for students studying from class I to VIII and participating in national and state level sports competitions during the financial year 2021-22 in the state.
Giving information in this regard, an official spokesman said that for national level sports competitions, the diet allowance of the students of aforesaid classes has been increased from Rs.200 to Rs.250 per student per day and the rate of sports-kits have been increased from Rs.1200 to Rs 2500 per student.

Similarly, for state level sports competitions, diet allowance has been increased from Rs 125 to Rs 200 per student per day and the rate of sports kits has been increased from Rs 700 to Rs 1500 per student.
