The Union Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh today held a telephonic conversation with Governor Bandaru Dattatraya and discussed about the Covid-19 situation and facilities in the State. He suggested the governor to involve the ex-servicemen of the state in the fight against this pandemic and to take benefits of the military services.
Raj Nath Singh said that Himachal Pradesh has a large number of ex-servicemen and various types of military services are also available here. This is a phase of pandemic and during this difficult time the state should utilize the services of its ex-servicemen. He said that military guest house, rest house and other medical facilities could also be used in the fight against Corona pandemic.
Expressing satisfaction over the various efforts being made at the state level against the pandemic, Shri Singh said that we can together over come this challenge and in this testing time everyone should contribute at their level.
The Governor thanked Union Raksha Mantri for his concern towards Himachal Pradesh and said that people of State are fighting collectively against this pandemic.
He said that military services are already rendering their valuable services in this direction. Their services must be used effectively to achieve victory in this battle. He assured the Raksha Mantri that by preparing action plan as per his suggestions more and more services of ex-servicemen at the regional level will be strengthened to fight against this pandemic.
